Honda rates the Pilot roof for 165 lb while driving.
That total includes:

Third-party engineering review
We paid a third-party engineering firm to review the Katana using finite element analysis, or FEA.
The rack was reviewed for load cases up to 3.3G.
That means the structure was checked against forces much higher than its normal static weight. This helps us review how the rack handles bumps, braking, vibration, and off-road use.
The 3.3G review does not increase Honda’s 165 lb roof limit. HERE. It helps confirm that the Katana is built with strength and safety in mind.
